AFIX Tracker was developed in response to a need within local law enforcement agencies for access to affordable automated fingerprint identification technology. Now in use in over 235 law enforcement agencies in 18 countries, AFIX Tracker is installed in more law enforcement and criminal justice agencies worldwide than any other AFIS/APIS system.
AFIX Tracker was also the first automated palm print identification system, adding that capability in June 2001. AFIX Tracker?s palm identification features were designed in cooperation with Mr. Ron Smith, CLPE. Mr. Smith is well known and respected as one of the world?s foremost experts on palm print identification.
In addition to AFIX Tracker, AFIX Technologies provides fingerprint identification and verification solutions for applications such as inmate release verification, mobile ID, pre-booking screening and medical and scientific research. |
